Lincoln and Lady is a historically accurate book developed for young children and families. Cathy Woodson wrote the book based on Abraham Lincoln’s 1863 Gettysburg Address. This story is seen through the eyes of a ladybug named “Lady,” President Lincoln’s confidant. Sarah, a talented student at New Oxford High School, was asked to illustrate the story that takes place near her hometown. Sarah willingly accepted this challenge.
